  4. #2 - SIP trunks work really well if… There is sufficient bandwidth end-to-end to support peak call traffic. Your service provider is competent and capable and has a plan of attack if things go wrong.

  5. #3 - Fax over SIP (or digital trunk) requires a lot of test time during install.

  6. #4 - Every company is different. When deploying UC one size does not fit all The more complex the application, the more time required to plan and configure the best possible solution The best solutions are the ones that apply technology to address the specific pain points of a business Call flow Accessibility Customer service Productivity

  7. #5 Don’t believe the clichés. “Set it and forget it” “Plug and Play” Many times these are not true Understand that it takes an investment of time, money and people to maximize benefit and ROI long term

  8. Summary Establish and confirm operation of a clear set of goals for the application. Understand the known limitations. As application complexity increases so must time spent implementing and maintaining to ensure long term productivity and ROI. A large investment in technology requires a a long term partner.
