  2. Timeline 2010-2011 • Researched similar/related sites to familiarize ourselves with new features • Researched various proprietary and open-source platforms • Met with several potential vendors • November 2011—secured funding from the Woodruff Foundation

  3. Timeline 2012 • Selected Drupal as our platform • February—signed contract with CSE in Atlanta —began “discovery” process, including brainstorming and survey of current site users • March—created six user profiles that informed our final functionality and design requirements

  4. Timeline 2012 • Spring—created site map and wireframes • Summer—design mockups completed; developers began constructing the site • Fall—content migration from old system to new

  5. Next Steps • Soft launch of site expected in late November • Beta testing and continued adjustments/updates through January • Hard launch tentatively scheduled for February 2013 • Build out “For Educator” area in 2013
