Land forms and resources • Natural Resources • Agricultural Land In California alone, there are 25,364,695 acres of farmland as of 2007. • Oil California, Oregon and Washington are all producers of oil • Alternative Energy As much as the western United States may be one of the last great oil strikes, the diversity of climates and ecospheres in the area make it one of the leading areas of potential for renewable alternative energy in the country

  8. Los Angeles The latitude and longitude -34° 3' 8" N / 118° 14' 34" W • People might choose to live here because it is a major city. Many people may also choose to live here because of the climate, another reason is that major businesses are located here.
