New Sponsorship Guidelines 25% guaranteed regardless 25% for hosting an on-site meeting to review team progress (2 LS board members present) 25% for joining local section meetings   For NW,IIT,UIC (1 spring + 1 fall + 3 YP with at least 3 members or 33% of the team whichever is less) NIU (1 spring or fall + 1 YP with 5 members or 50% of the team whichever is less) 25% Bonus for passing tech on the first day (only 1 team needed) Goals Working to summarize for Executive Review and Executive sales pitch Executive Review – Monthly board meeting update (1-2 min) Executive Sales Pitch - LS meeting status update / sponsorship oppurtunity (1 slide) Help promote teams to find business majors to organize sponsorship and communications. Initiate Knowledge Transfer from year to year

  5. Local Section Sponsorship Goal Initial kick-starter for teams. Meant to get the local teams out to the meetings and networking with other potential sponsors(local section members). Ideally the board can help provide an insight to funding from board employers or references for other companies.(Dan for CNH, Ed for Fereral-Mogul, Kenn for EMD, etc) First year is for $1500 potential per team. $1125 base + $375 as bonus Second and continuing years will be $1000 $750 base + $250 bonus
  6. The best way to support this is to show the benefits for the team members who can make it out. Team funding from local section Team funding potential from local section employers Networking opportunities “Key References” for internships and entry level positions. Free food at LS meetings. Design feedback from SAE Collegiate design series veterans. “Free” tech/safety inspection from SAE Collegiate design series veterans. Better competition connections with other local schools, increased camaraderie. Business plan/proposal experience at meetings.

  12. Oktoberfest Social Coordinate with other YP groups. AIChE has attended an event for 3 years Combined Attendance was 30 people No direct cost. Each YP covers their costs. $1000 in booze and food
  13. Chicago Auto-Show UIC has attended for two years in a row IIT joined last minute Networking for other schools to join in future years Pros- Free display all week. Non-centralized but highly visible. Cons- Random kids will climb into cars.
