USD(I) Responsibilities • Approval authority for SPēD Program • Reviews SPēD resource requests • Ensures compliance with accreditation requirements • Accepts and approves certification conferral recommendations • Ensures certification requirements meet security-related mission support and force structure Executive Overview

DSS Responsibilities • Develop, implement and maintain SPēD Program support • Maintain SPēD Program integrity • Submit SPēD Program budget requests • Submit SPēD Certification Program for accreditation • Produce Annual DSS/DSTC Report for OUSD(I) • Establish governance board Executive Overview
