  1. European Effort (mass chains) ENSDD network – exists on paper (!); NO recent meeting; NO funding on European level funding of data evaluation in Europe – through individual grants ONLY ! countries involved – France (Jean Blachot), Hungary (Janos Timar), Romania (AlexandruNegret), Bulgaria (Stefan Lalkovski), Turkey (SefaErturk), Finland (SakariJuutinen), Germany (Bernd Pheiffer) evaluation work – individual effort of evaluators RESULT: small share of the work

  2. What did we try? 1) contact NuPECC 2) report at the Helsinki Town Meeting, Sept. 2007 3) suggest an ENSDD network within ENSAR (not approved by the Selection Committee, 2008) 4) set up ENSDD at IAEA meeting, 2009 5) contact NUPNET (ERA-Net for Nuclear Physics) (not approved for funding at final selection, 2011)

  3. What comes next ? (ENSAR2) Dear ENSAR partners, The ENSAR PCC has decided to organise a townmeeting in order to discuss the ENSAR results and ENSAR future. We open here a call for volunteers to organise this townmeeting.   This event should last 4-5 days, to be held from 17th to 21st of June 2013. It should be organised in a place which is easily reachable, that can accommodate attendance of up to 150 people and that has enough (cheap!) hotel rooms available in the neighbourhood.  The invoices related to the townmeeting will be covered by the Work Package FISCO, with respect to the usual rules of GANIL for this type of event. If your place corresponds to these criteria, and if you are willing to organise the ENSAR TownMeeting, please contact us before January 11th, 2013. We already got one very interesting bid for this event. Best regards, ENSAR Management Group
