  2. In our school the teachers organize for several years now dance workshops which are very popular among students. Lots of people are happy to come to these classes. Standard and modern dances are especially popular among teens and younger children. As a result, many of the dances which teenagers learnt before, are presented during school academies. Dancers and teachers receive great applause from the audience.

  3. Dance with balls Teachers, who prepare choreography have very interesting ideas. On one of the school ceremonies a dance with props was presented – the props were balls and sticks, with the help of which students were making an interesting sounds. All made a great impression on the viewers. Also dancers danced very well, without the slightest error.

  4. Cha-Cha Cha-cha-cha is the youngest Cuban, Latin American social dance, derived from the rumba and mambo. In cha-cha dancer must have strong and straight legs to make it look spectacular.In style and way of dancing there has been many changes. Its author was Pierre Lavelle. This dance was presented for the first time in Germany in 1957, and Gerd Hadrich demonstrated the first steps. Cha-cha has a lot of elements of rumba. Many people nowadays want to learn this dance.

  5. Disco Dance Disco Dance - disco dancing, it was popular in the 70s. Currently this dance is ranked as one of the categories of dance sport. Disco is characterized by a fast-paced and energetic movements of the legs, cords and acrobatic figures.

Jive Jive is a dance, developed in America in 1910.It came to Europe with American soldiers and initially it was called jitterbug (called jitter - to have stage fright, jumping up and down nervously). Its variety is the boogie-woogie. It is very similar to rock and roll. Jive is very fast and dynamic. Jive‘s characteristic features are: quick kicks and a flexible jazz shares with the typical drag at the end of rhythmic phrases to get bigger and more dynamic acceleration at the beginning of the next phrase. Dancing jive keep your weight on the front of your feet. At tournaments it is danced as the last dance during Latin American dances stage, because it is the most tiring.

  7. Modern Dance Modern Dance - a dance form that arose from two trends: jazz and classics. Modern dance has become famous recently, but it is mistakenly recognized as one of jazz dances. In this dance however, the dancer shows his emotions – it’s very expressive. A characteristic features of modern dance are that smooth movements were taken from the classic dances, and the position of the feet was taken from jazz dance. In modern dance there are a lot of moves which are carried out very gently and swiftly.

  8. Rock and Roll Rock and roll or rock 'n' roll (called 'sway and twirl') - basic form of the underlying foundations of all styles of rock. Various sources give various dates of when the first rock and roll record was made. However, the fifties were the decade of the rock and roll music. The issue of racial discrimination was evident in the United States much earlier, and the rock'n'roll music opposed to this division. Rock’n’roll noted the increasing rise in popularity from one day to another. One of the most famous representatives of rockabilly was Elvis Presley, known as the King of Rock'n‘Roll.

  9. Competition During the school disco, there are also organised dance competitions in which participants can win prizes. There are a lot of volunteers.
