  2. Packaging Guidelines Packing Boxes 1 Cartridges are likely to be damaged in transit if they are unprotected—damaged cartridges have no value. To prevent damage, wrap individual cartridges (laser or inkjet) in bubble wrap or newspaper prior to bulk-packing in larger containers. If suitable packing materials are not available, collection boxes can be ordered from XMA when you order new printer cartridges. 2 Place the individual cartridges carefully in a larger storage box or container. This can be any strong cardboard box you have available, such as a computer box. Please note that K2 only recycles toner and inkjet cartridges from printers. There are alternative mechanisms which can be used for recycling inkjets. Please contact our Customer Service team for more information. We cannot accept toner bottles or Epson inkjets—please do not put them in the box 3 When the box is full, fill any gaps with newspaper or similar packaging material. Do not over-fill boxes as the cartridges will be more susceptible to damage. Ensure that it is possible for one person to lift the box or container. Tape the container securely. If you are using black sacks, try to keep them in a rectangular shape and tape around the outside of the sack to keep the cartridges together. K2 do not accept responsibility for units damaged in transit. 4  Call our Customer Service team and ask to arrange a collection. We will agree a date to collect your cartridges and give you a unique tracking reference (POR number). You should label each of your packages clearly with the tracking number, company name and postcode. Please note that we require a minimum of 15 cartridges. Please ensure that at least two people at your site are aware of the location of the cartridges and date they are to be collected. Please note that the parcel collection service does not currently include Northern Ireland. 01372 723 723 K2 Supplies Ltd • +44 (0)1372 723 723Fax +44 (0)1372 723 723 empties@k2supplies.com
