Lessons Learned • SAR capabilities are insufficient and have low effectiveness • Lack of modern SAR equipment • Lack of national SAR standards • The specialized SAR equipment of both military and civil vessels are out of date • Lack of effective coordination procedures at inter ministerial and national level • The training and preparation of special SAR staff is insufficient
