  3. “Building on a Proud Tradition” • FOP founded in 1915 • Founded by Martin Toole and Delbert Nagle, Pittsburgh Police Department • Committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers

  4. “Building on a Proud Tradition” • Founded by Police Officers to help Police Officers • Officers were forced to work 12 hr days/365 days a year before Toole and Nagle formed the FOP in Pittsburgh

  5. National FOP • Washington DC lobbyist on staff • FOP building in Washington • Over 324,000 members, 2100 local lodges • 2013 National Conference is being held in Cincinnati, Ohio • 2015 National Conference is being held in Pittsburg, PA
