  1. SYMPTOMS OF • ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh

  2. 1.PALE SKIN • MEDICAL CENTER Pale skin is a symptom of acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), which is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. Pale skin is caused by anemia, which occurs when the number of red blood cells decreases due to an increase in blast cells in the blood.

  3. 2.NIGHT SWEATS Night sweats are also considered typical of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Night sweats are often one of the first symptoms that lead a person to seek medical advice and an eventual diagnosis.

  4. 3.BONE AND JOINT PAIN Bone and joint pain is a symptom of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that occurs when the bone marrow is overcrowded with leukemia cells. This can cause the bone marrow to expand, putting pressure on nerves within the bone tissue, leading to pain. The pain can be dull or stabbing, and may be worse at different times of the day. It can also cause swelling.

  5. 4.FEELING TIRED AND BREATHLESS Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) can cause fatigue and breathlessness because it can cause a low red blood cell count, also known as anemia. Anemia can make you feel tired and breathless, even when you're resting, and lead to chest pain.

  6. 5.ABDOMINAL PAIN Abdominal pain can be a symptom of acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL) due to an enlarged spleen or liver. This is because leukemia can cause abnormal white blood cells to build up, which can cause the spleen and lymph nodes to swell. This swelling is called splenomegaly or hepatomegaly, respectively.
