  4. EDM programa “Traga a sua filha ao trabalho” AGENDA • Provide a background why to do such activities at the company • Provide background of the program, video and other activities by EDM

Background and preparation work • Identification of substations and staff to welcome girls • Commitment & pre-briefing with Substation managers and staff • Director will welcome girls • Clear program of visit • Hats, shirts and wrist bands • Fun activities and snacks STRONG BELIEF AND A SENSE OF FUN!

Results and the way forward 2018 on Bring your daughter to work 2018 on other gender programs School programs for awareness on electricity Study visits to EDM’s installations Short term internships for workers Develop gender-related online learning modules Support “Forum-Mulher-da-EDM” for associative development Continue preference targets in hiring rounds Implementation of a Gender Equality Stamp to EDM’s organizational units Develop a EDM’s news letter for gender issues KEEP STATISTICS AND REPORT REGULARLY ON INICIATIVES AND RESULTS • 3 rounds of school holidays • 1st round: 150 girls, 3 substations (Maputo, Chimoio, Nampula) and 306 kMT (aprox 5 k$) Clear program of visit and strong briefing with Substation managers and staff
