Emissions • Government Emissions • Includes all emissions for which the Village Government itself is responsible; such as electricity for Village Hall or streetlights, fuel for Police, and Wastewater Treatment plant energy consumption. • Community Emissions • Includes all emissions for which residents (and visitors) are responsible; transportation, residential and commercial electric and heating, and waste.

  14. Streetlights • Street and area lighting consume around 200,000 kWh annually and cost the Village about $20,000 per year to run. Action I: Reduce Runtime Action II: Convert Street Lights to LED

  15. Buildings and Facilities Action III: Efficiency Retrofitting Goal: Retrofit approximately 5,000 sq. feet Action IV: Waste and Wastewater Upgrades Goal: 10% reduction in energy consumption

  16. Energy Generation Action V: PV Solar Action VI: Renewable Energy Purchasing Based on purchasing 600 kWh of wind energy from NYSEG monthly, or roughly 13% of Village electricity use.
