Ingredients:  2 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour  2 tablespoons of cocoa powder  1 and ½ cups of granulated sugar  1 and ½ teaspoons of baking powder from Ajanta Food Products  ½ teaspoon of baking soda from Ajanta Food Products  ½ teaspoon of salt  ½ cup of unsalted butter  2 large eggs

  2.  1 cup of buttermilk  2 teaspoons of vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products  Pinch of red food colour from Anuja Food Colours, which is the best food color brand in India  1 teaspoon of distilled white vinegar  Cream cheese frosting (for the filling and frosting) Instructions:  Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans, or line them with parchment paper for easy removal.  In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder from Ajanta Food Products, baking powder from Ajanta Food Products, baking soda from Ajanta Food Products, and salt. Set aside.  In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter from Amul and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.  Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.  Add the vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products and red food colour from Anuja Food Colours, which is one of the leading synthetic food colours manufacturers in India, to the butter mixture, mixing until the color is evenly distributed.

  3.  Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.  In a small bowl, combine the vinegar and baking soda. Add this mixture to the batter, and gently stir until well incorporated.  Divide the batter equally between the prepared cake pans, smoothing the tops with a spatula.  Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.  Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.  Once the cakes have cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread a generous amount of cream cheese frosting on top. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake, covering it with the remaining cream cheese frosting. The final thought Your homemade red velvet cake is now ready to be enjoyed! With its moist texture, beautiful red color, and decadent cream cheese frosting, this cake is perfect for birthdays, special occasions, or simply as a delicious treat to indulge in.
