  1. An Application Delivery Network Provides the Acceleration, Visibility, Security, and Availability for Online Applications Such As Websites An Application Delivery Network is a suite of technology which, when properly implemented together, offers guaranteed, near-real-time protection, availability, performance, and visibility for all internet applications like websites. Application delivery network services include application delivery controllers (ADCs), and WAN optimization controllers (WOCs). The application delivery network offers application service providers enhanced connectivity and security for their services. In an increasingly competitive business environment, an application delivery network can be the difference between success and failure. Therefore, it's important for companies today to implement an application delivery network. An Application Delivery Network is similar to a high-speed Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). It connects various application servers with internet servers. The primary advantage of an application delivery network is its fast delivery of application services to end-users. Because of this characteristic, it is used as the backbone of many online transactions and forms of e-commerce. An application delivery network has several advantages over a local area network (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN) in terms of its ability to deliver application services to different parts of a geographical area or across the world. To meet anticipated application delivery, an application delivery network needs a collection of servers called application servers. They are the main component in an application delivery network that manages the different connections between other servers. An application server usually contains application logic, configuration, and security features. For an organization's network to function effectively, the application servers must be well-designed, well-implemented, and well- maintained. Moreover, they must be flexible and configurable.
