IEN Indore Entrepreneurs Network FBC Family Business Cell Digicro (Supporting students and community entrepreneurs) The frst ever Indore Entrepreneur Network is a start-up chapter of the early stage entrepreneurs and start-ups from Indore to support and build the ‘start-up’ ecosystem in the city. Since its inception in the year 2013, it has grown from 8 members to the community of 500+ startups. Digicro is the design club of E Cell where students learn software like Photoshop, Coral and improve their expression and communication through designing digital posters. FBC stands to encourage youth to join their family businesses and take them to newer heights by expanding and diversifying. It conducts activities pertaining to encouragement and mentoring of the students to join their family businesses. GENESIS- Cradling Entrepreneurship YuvAcro Started an initiative of establishing E-Cells Schools. YuvAcro is the social and youth development club of E Cell which works in sensitizing students towards the Nation building and works into following areas- Education and Skill, Environment, Employability, Healthcare, Arts (Sports and Culture) & Social Initiatives. LitMus LitMus, the literary club focuses on improving the verbal and written communication skills of the students to enable them to communicate efectively through activities and events.   19. Institute Innovation Council (IIC) AcroBizz Incubation Centre To foster the culture of Innovation among the students, AICTE and MHRD have initiated an Institute Innovation Cell. The objective is to encourage, inspire and nurture young technocrats for innovation by generating new ideas and transforming them into prototypes. The activities are conceptualized and guided by Central MIC. ACROBIZ - The Incubation Centre’ nurtures nascent ventures by providing workspace and shared facilities along with focused mentoring. In ACROBIZ, the entrepreneurs can receive value-added support and access to critical tools, information, education, contacts, resources and capital in the form of a soft loan. The purpose is to incubate and materialize the conceptual ideas. Debate Club A recent addition to the lineage of LitMus, the Debate Club helps students develop rational thinking and empowers them to be more vociferous in voicing their opinion. With the focus to create a space for authentic conversations, the club organizes debates with international standards such as Lincoln-Douglas Debates, Policy Forums and European Heart of Schools Debate. Readers' Club The Club was recently appended to the Literary Club, LitMus to spark the urge for reading books among students. The Club seeks to instil reading habits in students by bringing together like-minded bookaholics, who share a passion for literature & creating a conductive setting for impassioned discussion and learning. From book recommendations & readings to regular meetings & discussions for intellectual stimulation for the students. Reclaim Internet Project Acropolis students ended the National-level competition ‘Peer-to-Peer Challenge Extremism Competition’ with a podium finish first place in Country. Secondary Cities Project Indore Kathmandu Living Labs (KLL) in association with Colorado State University and American Association of Geographers signed an MOU with Acropolis on behalf of the U. S. Department of State’s Humanitarian Information Unit’s for Mapping Secondary Cities Project Indore. To develop public map and geospatial database of the informal health sector in Indore, as well as physical public health threats along with mapping NCD in Slums of Indore. GSEA-EO Awards The Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is the premier global competition for student entrepreneurs who actively run a business.
