  1. Steps to fix HP printer offline issue

  2. Reboot your printer first by shutting it down then turn it back ON

  3. Verify that the printer is plugged into your computer properly

  4. Log on to your computer using an account that has “Manage Printers” rights to the printer

  5. Click the “Start” button then click “Devices and Printers”

  6. Right-click the printer and choose “See What’s Printing” to display the print spooler window

  7. Click “Printer” and choose to confirm that the checkmark is assigned at “Use Printer Offline”.

  8. Click on the checkbox to get rid of the tick if it's there. and choose “Use Printer Online”.
