(87.22%) Credit component Rs.451.05 Cr. & Utilization is Rs.386.93 Cr. (85.78%) Physical -Total area – 4.29 Lakh Ha & 3.98 lakh Ha is treated (92.77%) Institutional – 6648 (SHGs), 4394 (Area Groups) and 742 (Sujala Watershed Sanghas) Critical Milestones Achieved Phase 1, 2 & 3 - implementation completed Community contribution for the works - Rs.37.79 Cr. Savings by SHGs & AGs – Rs.20.58 Cr. IGA : Revolving fund of Rs.43.66 Cr. is given to 71350 Beneficiaries 18720 Beneficiaries are imparted with skill training Year wise Tar & Ach

IMPACT ASSESSMENT • NALA BUNDat Markandi in Basava Kalyan (IWDP) • Change in cropping pattern from cereals to commercial crops • Increase in water table by 20 feet, • Incremental income by 25 to 30% • CONTOUR BUNDINGAurad taluk of Bidar district. (DPAP) • Retained 60 to 70 % run-off • Recharge of ground water by 15 to 20% • Increase in crop yields by 18 to 20% CHECKDAM In Jagalur Tq (DDP) • Water table in the borewells have increased by 200-250ft. • Water quality increased • Cropping sequence has changed from single cropping to double crop

NWDPRA • Nala bund filled twice during 2007. • Borewellyield increased from 1-1.5 to 2- 2.5 inches • Resulted in growing 2 acres of Coconut, 1 acre of Mulberry and 1 acre Banana crops. • Income increased by 2-3 times. • RVP • Nearby farm pond, two borewells got recharged. • Protective irrigation for Groundnut during summer. • Additional income of Rs.7500 – 12500.
