  3. Tank 85 Foundation • The grout in some piling settled and was repaired. Grout was chipped to a clean surface and re-poured. • Pouring the repair.

  4. Tank 85 Foundation • Excavating to sub-grade for the mud slab. • Excavating continues while the mud slab is being poured.

  5. Tank 85 Foundation • Mud slab complete and form setting in progress. Laying out support bars for re-bar work to begin. • Form setting for the slab well under way.

  7. Tank 85 Foundation • Re-bar is complete and ready for concrete pour Oct. 28, 06.

  8. Tank 85 Foundation • Tying wall dowels and support dowels Oct 27, 06. • Water-stop placed so it can be repositioned while the concrete is being poured

  9. Tank 85 Foundation • 5AM Oct 28,06. First two loads of concrete. • Pouring with two pump trucks

  12. Tank 85 Foundation • 7AM Sat. anchor bolts set and checked, re-bar complete, ready to pour. • Pour approximately 40 % at 9:30 AM

  13. Tank 85 Foundation • Ring wall completely poured. • Ring wall stripped and grading for tank contractor started

  14. Tank 85 Foundation • Liner installation well under way. • Liner nearly completed.

  15. Tank 85 Foundation • Ramp in place for placing of sand and entrance of crane and materials. 11-13-06 • First of many loads of sand, 11-14-06

  16. Tank 85 Foundation • Sand fill covered for the night. 11-15-06 • Compacting first lift of sand. Tested at 105-108.
