  1. This is how your Sunken Paver is Repaired! With time a driveway paving or patio pavers requires repair in order to maintain its appearance and function. Concrete is the hardest substance to lay on your floors, but oftentimes its seen that it has some damages or has sunken below and therefore, needs to be replaced or repaired. Especially, seen in driveway pavers, as it undergoes the highest amount of traffic from heavy vehicles and people constantly walk on it. So the best way is you can either re-lay or replace it. Pavers repair is not a difficult task but it isn’t that easy either if you’ve decided to replace the stone, find another stone that fits perfectly. It is possible that when you built your driveway, paving stones were bigger. But the ones available in the market now are slightly smaller. You could use this paver stone to replace the one that is damaged, and in its place put the newer one, which will be slightly ill-fitted. Remove the pavers using the tip of a small and flat-bladed screwdriver and slowly, pry up the end of each paver. Using a pair of screwdrivers at each end of the each paver can help and make the wiggling process much easier. Pound them with a rubber mallet to loosen them up if the pavers are wedged in tight. Make a board which can be used to level the freshly poured concrete. This will be used to scrape and level out the now-exposed ground beneath the sagging pavers. Therefore, make sure the board’s long enough to reach across the exposed area all the way where the problem is. Now finally, add all-purpose sand to the low area and, with the notched ends of the screed aligned with the level pavers, pull the screed over the sand to level it out very gingerly. Now reset the pavers and use the rubber mallet to pound them down until they’re leveled with the other pavers. Simply sweep dry sand into the joints and Voila you’ve Repaired the Sunken Pavers in no Time! Resource http://www.browardpavers.com/ | (954) 554-2700 | BrowardPavers@gmail.com
