C&A Investigations has been in the business of private investigation since 2000. Our service primarily based in the greater Kansas city but provide some service anywhere in the country. Edward Colvin has worked with a number of large and small Kansas City law firms on a variety of complex case and also worked as a contract special investigator for the Department of Homeland Security.

Edward Colvin has over 30 years experience as a private investigator.  He began his career in the U.S. Air Force where he was trained in the conduct of criminal, fraud, counter-intelligence, and counter-terrorism investigations.  He served as a Special Agent, Air Force Office of Special Investigations in New Mexico, Washington DC, Turkey, Germany and finally as superintendent of criminal investigations at Norton AFB, CA.  Edward retired from the Air Force in 1982 after serving his country for 20 years.

  3. Ed moved to Kansas City with his wife and two daughters in 1982. Since that time, he has worked as an investigator. He first worked as an in-house investigator for two different law firms. Then in May 2000, he opened his own private investigative business, C&A Investigations. Since that time he has worked with a number of large and small Kansas City law firms on a variety of complex cases. He has also worked as a contract special investigator for the Department of Homeland Security. He recently worked on two overseas contracts conducting threat assessments for the Department of Defense School System - Europe.
