  1. Hair Drug Test: How it is done

  2. Unlike urine drug test, hair drug test is hard to falsify. There are different kinds of drugs that can be identified using hair drug test like, cocaine, amphetamines, marijuana and opiates. It may cost you a lot but its method is most likely to be trusted for determination of drug users

  3. How it is done? • First of all, avail your hair follicle drug testing kit. These are available on medical establishments or you can easily avail them from online shops. **Click here**

  4. Hair sample collection • Collect the hair sample. As much possible, you will need 40-50 strands of about a half inch long and when you cut it, cut closest to the scalp.

  5. Sending of hair sample • Your drug testing kit will most likely include a package where you will place your hair sample. You will need to send it to a medical laboratory for analysis. Meanwhile, record your hair drug test on their website. Results will be issued later on.

  6. Hair sample analysis • The lab analyst will dissolve the hair sample and measure some kind of drug molecule from the sample. If results showed a positive, then a second drug test can be performed but this time using a (GC/MS)

  7. Check your result • Though you can check your results online, it still remain confidential. You can have your result, 1-2 business days prior to the day you sent your sample. If you are found out to be a positive user, lab analysts usually make an estimation on the hair dose reaction which can tell whether you are an occasional or constant user.

  8. Take note • No matter how hard you try to cover up the result by using different kinds of shampoo or hair products, you won`t be able to alter what`s really in your hair. Another thing is, when collecting hair sample do not make use of your hair from your hair brush. There`s no guarantee that it can give you accurate result
