These services are continually updated and improved. Inputs and feedback from students form an important source for planning and executing these changes. Most facilities are technology enabled. EAT HEALTHY, STAY HEALTHY The school Dining Hall effortlessly hosts all students in a single turn. The menu is a blend of popular cuisines, combining taste and variety with nutrition and a balanced diet. The highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. It also avails a mess facility to the day scholars. The Annapurna provides pure Indian food. The main aim of the Annapurna is to provide a high quality food which is rich in nutrients. Homely food is provided to the students. The mess provides a huge variety of food. The students enjoy eating food in mess. School meals are carefully supervised by the staff members who look after the mess, and efforts are made to provide a well-balanced diet with a variety of dishes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Fresh fruit, vegetables and milk are provided every day, and extra or special food, if approved as necessary by the school doctor, is catered for. Teachers and students eat together at the table and the Mess Committee includes both staff and students. DPS WARANGAL BOARDING Nesting in the outskirts of the Warangal city and spreading over a vast area of more than 10 acres, Delhi Public School located in the harmonious and the sovereign surroundings. The environment to tranquil in harmony with nature. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the Warangal city DPS Warangal is located in the outskirts of the city. The school also provides a boarding house for both boys and girls. Currently the boarding is the home for more than 300 students. TRANSPORT The school is located in the outskirts of the city, and transport is the major concern for all the parents. To solve this problem the school provides transport facility to the students and the teachers. The transport facility is provided to the students traveling from different routes. There are almost 35 buses plying to all the routes. To ensure the safety of the girl child there is a lady attendant in the bus. THE SCHOOL INFIRMARY Safety of the students is the major concern of the management. The student's health is supervised by a well-qualied and experienced Doctor. The school has its own inrmary under the charge of a doctor. SWADESHI MOVEMENT The Swadeshi movement, part of the Indian independence movement and the developing Indian nationalism, was an economic strategy aimed at removing the British Empire from power and improving economic conditions in India. This movement also involved the boycott of British products. Western clothes were thrown onto bonres. The Students of DPS enacted play on Swadeshi movement under the name of “VANDEMATARAM”. The act was played by the students by dressing in Kadhi cloths and with different getups as Indian and Britishers. It was preached to go against the repressive measures of the Government. The social boycott was a very powerful weapon the students expressed their views by showing play cards. 044
