The source of this hot spring is from the Yampah Spring, which produces over 3.5 million gallons of water daily at a high temperature of 122F.

However, here you get to be at four places at the same time. Just head over to Four Corners Monument at thesouthwest corner of Colorado and you’ll find yourself stepping on the lands of three states bordered by the city. Arizona, Mexico and Utah intersect with Colorado, and this is the only place in the whole of America where all the four states meet. 3.Deep dive into the world’s deepest hot springs Here’s another hot spring that’s not necessarily large enough but it’s most definitely the deepest in the world. It provides the baths at The Springs Resort and Spa, the Overlook Hot Springs, and the Healing Waters Resort and Spa. 4.Home to the highest paved road in the US Moving on the largest and the deepest to the highest feature in Colorado! We’re talking about Mount Evans Scenic Byway. This road is the highest paved road that climbs up to 14,258 feet above sea level, guiding travellers up the steep and curvy terrain. 5.Denver is a mile higher This may not sound as interesting but it sure makes the list due to its enormous height above sea level, attracting several tourists. Denver is the capital of Colorado and is also termed as the mile-high city. The 13th step of the Colorado State Capitol Building sits5,280 feet above sea level. 6.The Grand Mesa is the world’s largest flattop mountain Covering hundreds of square miles is the Grand Mesa mountain, and it stands over a massive 10,000 feet above sea level. It gets better! The Grand Mesa is home to diverse wildlife, a national forest, gorgeous landscapes, unique geologic views, and a national scenic byway. If you plan to visit Colorado, this is a mountain you don’t want to leave without seeing. The Grand Mesa is located near the Grand Junction that has a total area of nearly 500 square miles, and it reaches as far as Colorado and the Gunnison rivers. 7.Bridging gaps with a height like no other The Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon city is one of the highest bridges known worldwide. It reaches a height of 1,053 feet, and has been developed into a bit of a theme park as well. The theme park is a hub for some fun rides, white water rafting, and camping. There’s a train that passes through the Gorge as well. 8.Shop in the longest commercial street If you’re a tourist then shopping must be your priority. You won’t be disappointed with Colfax Avenue. This shopping street runs through the central part of Denver and is considered the longest commercial street in the US. It covers 26.5 miles and is famous for the Colfax Marathon.

This park is located on the northeast of Alamosa in the San Luis Valley and spans across 150,000 acres. Colorado is derived from the Spanish language. The meaning is attributed to the red silt carried out by the Colorado river.
