  1. How to Access the Linksys Extender Default IP Address? Linksys Extender default IP address 192.168.1.1 is the first IP address that the Linksys extender device's manufacturer assigned to it. As the default entry point for web browsers to the extender setup and settings page, it provides this purpose. For example, if you want to configure a Linksys extender, you must go to this IP address and modify its settings. Once you've done so, your extender will be able to work in places where you didn't previously have a network.
