Vancouver is the host city to the • Winter Olympic Games (12 – 28 February 2010) • Winter Paralympic Games (12 – 21 March 2010) • This is the second time that Vancouver has hosted the Winter Games • Some events will be held in the city of Vancouver and some events will be held in the resort of Whistler

Three top facts about the Winter Olympic Games 1) The first Winter Olympic Games were held in Chamonix, France in 1924 2) Before that, figure skating and ice hockey had been events at the Summer Olympic Games! 3) The Winter Olympic Games are held every four years.
