  2. Giridarshini Home Stay • Giridarshini was first established as a restaurant in B.R. Hills around 1950, with keeping the tourist in mind , the one and only hotel served nearly 60 yrs , this was yet serving many pilgrimages and tourist who visit famous Ranganatha Swamy Temple, built during Hoysal period.This also one and only point for coffee/ snacks and news paper hangout for the local people of the town. The hotel has beautiful coffee plantation and next to the hotel which is now has beautiful home stay building started as a tourism attractive place for many wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers, and people who looks for nature outing and bike riders during weekends and holidays with family.

Accommodation at BR Hills • We have 8 beautiful cottages in a single building which has beautiful balcony and open balcony from the room with beautiful slide glass window, which has a plantation look from inside. • Two tented cottages inside the plantation which has Swiss tents with attached bath rooms. Our guests will enjoy both tented and cottage accommodation in Block 1

  5. ACTIVITIES our naturalist will guide your activities according to season. Birding • B R hills is rich in bird life and is home for many birds, more than 300 bird species is found in this region. This region is paradise for birds; many wildlife photographers do visit this place for bird photography.Giridarshini has a record and home for some 25 species of birds. Trekking • Trekking is allowed only in the area allotted to trekking visitors and guests are not allowed o trek without the permission from the hotel management, and to trek with our naturalist only.We do take people to sunset point, and view point, and near the lake side nature walk, plantation visit, temple visit, morning road safari. safari is in K.gudi 18 kilometer away from our home.
