  1. What Does the Future of Career Counselling look like? Welcome to the present and future of career counselling. Taking inspiration from Finland’s strong education system, we need to provide autonomy to our teachers and counsellors who can then adapt their service to the needs of our students. According to the World Development Report, a strongsystem to move towards innovative learning is micro-level systemic knowledge interventions. This means new pedagogical methods, digital technologies to enhance learning, and strategies to keep all stakeholders motivated. One of the most interesting innovations mentioned in this report is the development of career counselling.

  2. What does the future of career counselling look like? The present and future is digital: Mobility, accessibility, and flexibility are key if anything is to succeed with students today. Career counselling is about helping a 16-year- old decide what his future might be. With so much development and advancement in technology, advising students has become very systematic. Needless to say, digitally chatting, email, video counselling sessions, and highly engaging information provided in digital format are very effective forms of career counselling. This is the era of free-flowing information. Therefore, the lines between fact and fiction are blurred. So, we can't gush, but we can direct it.
