Why Cat6a Plenum Costs more than Cat6a Riser

Cat6a ethernet cable comes in two main types: the Cat6a plenum and the Cat6a riser. Both types of cable are the same from within. Meaning that they feature the same 23 AWG twisted pair conductors made from pure copper. Both cables have the same 10 GBit/s data transmission speeds over 100 meters with 750 MHz.
