    3. Rooms Observed The evaluation included one king room and one double room check out Our initial request was 3 king rooms Only a limited number of rooms were available The king bed at the Chicago Hotel did not appear to be as large as the king bed in previous king room assessments

    4. Chicago Full-Service Hotel Risk Assessment 3 workers were assessed Each worker cleaned one king checkout and one double checkout This risk analysis shows the bed tasks combined for the two types of rooms.

Chicago Hotel Risk Assessment Lift rate = exertions/hour Average # of exertions king room = 455.6 Average # of exertions double room = 601.6 Generally workers clean 15 rooms/day To minimize exertion/hr all king rooms figures will be used Exertions/hr = (455*15)/8 = 855 exertion/hr The exertion rate is for the job and therefore will be the same for all subtasks.

    17. Number of Bed and Bath Exertions The number of exertions for the bed and bath tasks is 208.3 (208.3*15)/8= 390 390 exertions/hr will put the lift rate risk at 98% for this variable Lift rate is high because the worker does 15 room/day
