Joshua M Shields’ mastery in the field of forestry has given him the opportunity to go anywhere with his knowledge. Just recently, he ended his inspirational career as an educator and lecturer for the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, and has moved on to a different use of his expertise. From the UW-Stevens Point, Joshua has now transitioned to service work and Outreach Forestry.

Joshua M ShieldsFormer UW-Stevens Point Lecturer The former lecturer of forest ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Joshua M Shields has devoted his life to the conservation and well-being of the world’s environment. Moving on from the education of students, he is now working as an outreach forester, managing the wildlife and ecosystem in his area and consistently pursuing the improvement of his skills in the field.

Joshua M Shields has his Doctorate in Forest Biology, and used his knowledge of this important field to lecture at UW- Stevens Point, inspiring college students to follow in his footsteps as an environmentalist that looks for a better future.

But what does it take to become a lecturer in a university? Depending on the college, certain universities only require a graduate degree in order to begin lecturing to students.
