    33. S.S. Rajput 33 Fire Detection cum Alarm System CONTROL PANEL : Supply and installation of wall mounting type Microcontroller based 8 zone master control panel enclosed in 1.6 mm CRCA Sheet casing for fire detection & alarm system with clear front glass vision and locking up arrangement with adequate paint and polish and having following annunciations as per IS : 2189 of 1988. a) Normal LED (6.26). This will show that the individual zone is working normally. b) ‘Open’ LED (6,4). This will indicate that there is some sort of disconnection in the particular zone / circuit. c) ‘Short’ LED (6.4). This will indicate that there is a short circuit in the particular zone.

    34. S.S. Rajput 34 Fire Detection cum Alarm System d) ‘Battery fail’ LED (7.7). This will indicate the battery condition being healthy or otherwise. e) Flashing ‘Fire’ LEDs (6.33.4). There will be two such LEDs in parallel connection which will indicate a fire in a particular zone. f) Common zone ‘Test’ switch - This switch enables to test all the zones simultaneously. g) Individual zone ‘Test &6.33 4h) This switch enables to test any particular zone.

    35. S.S. Rajput 35 Fire Detection cum Alarm System h) Alarm ‘acknowledge’ switch (6.8) In case the protected place is manned, and an alarm starts, he will have an opportunity for 10-15 seconds to hold on the automatic operations such as discharge of CO2, gas Auto dialing of police station / Fire brigade etc. by pressing this switch and can manually initiate such actions, should these be necessary as and when he wants. While in case of absence of the man all actions will be taken by the system automatically after 10/15 seconds. After acknowledging, the flickering of FIRE LEDs will come stand still and also the sound will change indicating that somebody is attending to the emergency.

    36. S.S. Rajput 36 Fire Detection cum Alarm System i) ‘Reset’ switch (6.17) This switch will reset the system to normal condition for continuing vigilance a new . j) Zone ‘isolation’ switch - This switch enables to isolate a zone in case of need / fault while all other zones will work normally. The isolated zone will show ‘open’ when so isolated. k) Automatic electricity disarming contact (zero potential) (6.6) This will give a zero potential contact for auto isolation of electricity in the protected area. This must be done instantaneously. l) Automatic system actuation signal (24 V) (6.6) There will be an automatic 24V signal of actuating allied accessories such as Carbon dioxide gas discharge / Automatic telephonic message to Police Station / Fire Brigade etc.

    37. S.S. Rajput 37 Fire Detection cum Alarm System m) ‘Hooter isolation’ switch (6.8) This switch will isolate the hooter to avoid commotion during testing. n) D C volt & Ampere meters (6.33.4) This will show the operating voltage and amperage. o) External terminals and fuses for easy interchange and checking. p) ‘Power On/Off’ switch for putting the system ‘on’ or ‘off’. All switches / LEDs will be under lock & key except the ‘Alarm acknowledge’. ‘Sensor reset’ and ‘System reset’ switches.
