  9. TRAINING • On site assistance in areas requested by the member city and/or determined necessary by program staff • Assistance with L&I Training

  10. Claims Management • AWC becomes Your claims manager and advocate • Third Party Administrator – Sedgwick CMS

  11. Reduction • Assess current areas of major loss • Target on site and/or regional meetings to address current areas of loss • Inform members of group performance • Target of .75 experience factor or lower

  12. PREVENTION • Return to Work Program • Safety Program • Legislative Advocacy • Meet Your Needs as requested by individual members

  13. MEMBERSHIP • OPEN TO ALL CITIES IN WASHINGTON STATE • MEMBER OF AWC • GOOD STANDING WITH WA. STATE DEPT. OF LABOR AND INDUSTRIES • OPERATE BY PROGRAM POLICIES

  14. Service Fee • 6.5% of Premium billed in January • NO added fees • Claims Management Cost (TPA) • On Line Claims and document access 24/7 • Loss Control • AWC

  15. PREMIUM REFUNDING POLICY IN POSITIVE YEARS • Service Fee of 6.5 % refunded annually • First Performance Refund at 46 months • 50% of performance refund retained as member equity until sufficient reserves are achieved • Must Contribute to receive • Performance based refund • No penalty for poor performance

  16. REASSESSMENT In The Event of a Negative Year • Every member contributes • Individual reassessment based on % of total contribution
