  3. Upcoming Dates • E-Rate Workshop for Beginners September 10th, 9:00 till? • Orientation for New Technology Directors September 14th, 9:00 – 12:00 • CIPA Workshop (via Distance Learning) September 17th, 9:00 – 10:30 • Dreamweaver Training September 20th, 9:00 – 3:00

  4. Distance Learning Update • Lone Star Mega – Conference: December 7 • Pearl Harbor Theme • Want to connect with all ESC’s • Will try to connect with Hawaii and Japanese schools • Governor and TEA commissioner are invited • Will receive information in near future

  5. District Technology Plan Training • 18 districts will expire at end of this year • ESC will provide Tech Plan training

  6. TEA Updates • Title II, Part D funding reduction proposed • National Ed. Tech Study • Teacher Star Charts

  7. Teacher Star Charts • Training Packs to be delivered – 25 per campus • ESC will host at least three professional development sessions for district administrators/ed tech contacts • All activities will be completed by November 15 • Required for TIP districts • Highly recommended for all Title II, D districts • Required of all next year.
