  2. Purpose of the Project • The purpose of my project is for me to learn about diseases. I want to know how they are caused, and why they are caused. • I chose this project because I want to know what are the three most common diseases in the Untied States of America. I also choose this project because a lot of people do not know about how they are caused.

  3. Summary of the Project • My project will show the most common diseases. Also about the symptoms of the diseases. The last thing my project will show is how the diseases are caused and why they are caused. • This project will explain the ways that the diseases happen.

  4. What are the most common diseases in the United States? • Diseases of the heart killed about 28.5 percent of people in America. • Malignant Tumors killed about 22.8 percent of people in America. • Cerebrovascular diseases killed about 6.7 percent of people in America.

  5. What are the symptoms? • The symptoms of Diseases of the Heartare coronary artery disease, heart attacks-disease has different symptoms, although each type of heart has many problems. The symptoms you experience depend on the type and severity of your heart condition. Learn to recognize your symptoms and the situations that cause them. Call your doctor if you begin to have new symptoms or if they become more frequent or severe • The symptoms for Malignant Tumors are, lung tumors may cause coughing, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Tumors of the colon can cause weight loss, diarrhea, constipation, iron deficiency anemia, and blood in the stool. • The symptoms for Cerebrovascular diseases are hypertension this damages the blood vessel lining. Endothelium exposes the underlying collagen where platelets aggregate to initiate a repairing process which is not always complete and perfect.

  6. How are the diseases caused? • Diseases of the heart is caused by your heart is a pump. It's a muscular organ about the size of your fist and located slightly left of center in your chest. Your heart is divided into the right and the left side. * Malignant tumors are caused by a tumor that lacks the ability to metastasize. Common examples of benign tumors include moles and uterine fibroids. * Cerebrovascular diseasescan be divided in to embolism, aneurysms, and low flow states depending on its cause. Major modifiable risk factors include hypertension, smoking, obesity, and diabetes.

  7. In my community *This will help out my community because, it is telling people that diseases are every where and that they are not easy to get rid of. They will know how to get rid of them and how to prevent them. *People that are more healthy it is less likely for them to get any type of disease. No one would like to have these three diseases because they are deadly. * If you prevent the disease there is a higher chance that you will live a longer life than the people that do not prevent it.
