Project Background • On September 26, 2019, Alexandria City School Board voted for a One High School Model • As part of this vote the current Minnie Howard campus will be redeveloped as a part of a Connected High School Network • Current students at Minnie Howard campus: 850 • Expanded Minnie Howard campus students: 1,600

Project Timeline Next 6Months 18 –24Months*24 – 30Months PLANNING Fall2019: Advance Planning Phase and New CIPProposal Fall 2024: Students being occupying new space September26: School Board Decision * Includes DSUP Process Timelines are not exact and may vary based upon the ultimatesolution for highschoolexpansion 3

Williams Minnie HowardCampus • SiteAcres: 12 • Current Building Size: 166,500SF • Maximum Height: 60 Feet (4stories) • Existing uses include a turf field and tennis courts • The new facilities at Minnie Howard would support grades 9 - 12 • New building(s) to be built on the east side of campus currently occupied by fields and tennis courts • Public open space will be replaceduponcompletion ofconstruction • Existing building would be demolished and replaced by new site amenities
