  2. Introduction • Bombay, now known as Mumbai, is home to around 10 million people. It is a thriving cosmopolitan, multi-cultural city, and is the centre of India's entertainment industry. • Mumbai has been growing for five hundred years, even though it was built on what initially looked like very weak foundations. • The name Mumbai is an eponym, derived from the name of a local Goddess called Mumbadevi. The history of this beautiful city dates back to the formation of the seven islands, namely Colaba, Mazagaon, Mahim, Parel, Bombay Island, Worli and Old Woman's Island. • Because of the rich history of Mumbai, there are a few places one should not miss when visiting Mumbai.

  3. 1. Marine Drive • Marine Drive is a km long, arc shaped boulevard along the South Mumbai coast, starting from the southern end of Nariman Point and ending at the famous Chowpatty beach. • The beauty of this stretch has invited commercial & residential opportunities for decades, making it impossible for any scope for properties for sale.

  4. 2. Gateway of India • The Gateway of India is, without doubt, one of the most popular tourist hotspots of Mumbai. It is located at Apollo Bunder Waterfront and overlooks the Arabian Sea in the most beautiful way. • The imposing structure of the monument is a beautiful confluence of Indian, Arabic and Western architecture and has become a popular tourist hub in the city.

  5. 3.Juhu Beach • Juhu beach is the longest beach in Mumbai, and arguably the most popular among tourists as well. Juhu beach is renowned for its wide variety of street food with a very typical Mumbai flavour. • The area near Juhu is a posh locality in Mumbai, home to a lot of famous Bollywood and TV celebrities, hence you wont be seeing any ’Property for sale’ boards here.

  6. 4. Prithvi Theatre • The original home of the performing arts in Mumbai, Prithvi theatre has earned a reputation for nurturing some of India’s brightest actors and actresses. • Modelled on the great theatres of Europe, Prithvi has a charm that few theatres have in India. Attend a show. You may be seeing India’s next biggest star.

  7. 5. Versova Beach • Versova Beach is a popular tourist spot in the suburbs of Andheri in Mumbai. This secluded seafront is an extension of the beautiful Juhu Beach, from which it is separated by a creek. • Since, Versova beach is a secluded seafront, its has a lot of scope for properties for sale. This developing part of city has seen immense growth in the past 5 years.

  8.
