  3. God is near! Act 17:27 that they should seek God, IN THE HOPE they might (grope for him) (feel their way toward him) and find him, though he is not far from each one of us: Act 17:28 for in him we live, and move, and have our being;

  4. Yet we suffer and struggle with adversity

  5. God in response sent Jesus into the world to destroy the awful work of the devil I John 3:8

  6. LORD HELP ME ALLOW YOU TO USE THIS CIRCUMSTANCE of suffering/adversity that has come upon me FROM: • Sin of others • My sin • Time and chance MOLD ME INTO AN FAITHFUL, ACCEPTABLE VESSEL IN YOUR SIGHT and USEFUL FOR YOUR SERVICE.

  7. CONSIDER KING DAVID

  8. Psa 51:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Psa 51:2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities. Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit. Psa 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. • 1Pe 5:9 Resist him and be firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering. • 1Pe 5:10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you in Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, will restore you, establish you, strengthen you, and support you.
