Hotel management is a major branch of hospitality management which is the study of hospitality industry. This subject is directly connected with tourism industry. In today’s world tourism industry is itself a big industry. As the horizon of tourism industry is expanding at very fast pace, it has been bringing a good number of jobs also. But, unfortunately Bangladesh is lagging behind in this sector.<br>In Bangladesh there are only a handful of management institutes that provide a proper hotel management degree. But most of Bangladeshi hotel management institutes don’t have adequate infrastructure and the quality of education they provide are much lower than global standard. That’s why a good number of Bangladeshi students are going abroad to study hotel management.<br>China is one of the most popular destinations for Bangladeshi students who want to make a career in hotel management. The primary reason for which most Bangladeshi students plan to study hotel management in China is the global reputation and recognition of Chinese universities. China’s institutes facilitate international students to study their course in English medium.<br>Besides theoretical education students are placed as intern in big multinational companies so that they can get sufficient hand on experience.<br>The tuition fee that China’s hotel management institutes charge, is much lower than most institutes of USA and western countries. The accommodation and other associated cost are also within the reach of one’saffordability
