  1. KIDS FOOT MEASURING GAUGE HOW TO USE GUIDE 01 Make sure your child is wearing socks and standing upright. Place the measuring gauge flat on the floor and position their foot on the gauge with their heel touching the back of the heel rest. Ensure their weight is evenly distributed on both feet and their foot is straight in the gauge. Gently hold down their toes to keep them flat and move the toe slide until it just touches the tip of the longest toe. 90 100 110 120 70 130 140 60 150 160 170 50 180 190 200 40 30 20 10 0 02 140 145 Make a note of the length measurement indicated by the black lines in the circular window. Include any extra millimetres from the side scale to the number in the window. 180 185 190 190 195 03 Slide one end of the width tape until it sits at the centre of joint at the base of your child’s big toe. To locate this joint place a finger in the middle of your child’s foot on the big toe side, gently slide your finger towards the toe and you will feel a slight bump, this is the big toe joint. 110 120 130 140 150 160 170 180 190 200 140 145

  2. 04 Slide the other end of the tape until it sits at the centre of the joint at the base of our child’s little toe. Hold the tape end out parallel to the floor and make a note of the measurement, in millimetres, at the point indicated by the arrow.
