  2. Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) • Trikonasana is considered to be an excellent pose for weight loss which not only burns the fat but also improves the elasticity and suppleness of the body. The twist that you get through this asana helps to improve the digestive system and reduce the fat accumulated in the belly region. Steps: • Stand with legs apart, approximately 3 feet. Stretch your arms by the side of your body, with palms facing upwards. • Turn the right foot outward and keep the knees straight. Twist and bend down, taking your right hand to the right foot. • Turn your head up and gaze at the left palm that is up. Breathe normally over here, and then gently release the pose.

  3. SetuBandhasana (Bridge Pose) • This is a great pose to lose weight, while also targeting the thyroid and glutes. The slight compression in the neck stimulates the thyroid gland, which releases a crucial metabolism-regulating hormone. Steps: • Lie down on your back with the legs bent at the knee at a comfortable distance from the body. • Keep your hands by the side of the body, palms towards the floor. • Breathing in, lift the back off the floor, so that only your shoulders are touching the floor. In the final position, your feet, arms, shoulders, neck, and head are on the floor, with the back completely off the floor. • Stay in this position for 5-7 breaths, and while exhaling, gently lower yourself down.

  4. Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) •  This is another best yoga posture to lose weight quickly and easily. Dhanurasana gives an excellent massage to the visceral organs, which further improves digestion. It also strengthens and tones the thighs, back, and chest. Steps: • Lie down on your abdomen, with the forehead on the floor, legs together and arms by the side of your body. • Grab the ankles and lift the body up, so that it is in the shape of a bow. • Pull your hands and feet in the opposite direction to get a deep stretch. • Let the whole body rest only on the abdomen and pelvis.

  5. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) •  The good old Surya Namaskar is a combination of asanas that works on the whole body. These 12 steps focus on all the parts of the body, thereby toning them. It not only helps to stretch and warm up the muscles but also helps to lose weight quickly and easily. Surya Namaskar can offer a lot of benefits, some of them being an improved blood circulation, balances the metabolism, trims the waist, tones the arms, and it also stimulates the digestive system.

  6. Vakrasana (Twisting Pose) • This simple seated twisting asana helps in toning the waist completely. It not only gives a good twist but also helps to lose the love handles and sides. Vakrasana tones the abdominal muscles and shapes up the waist. It also gives a massage to the abdominal organs. Steps: • Sit with your legs stretched in front of you. • Gently bend on leg and grab it with the opposite arm and twist while looking behind. • Twist, as the other arm rests on the floor behind the body to deepen the stretch. • Breath normally through this twist and release the pose. • Do the same thing on the other side as well.
