IndieMade Artists: An Easier Way To Update Your Store! Updating your IndieMade store doesn’t have to be so time-consuming and frustrating. Sure, it is now because you’re using spreadsheets. However, that’s all about to change… Meet Venzee! Venzee provides you with a fast and easy method of both creating and updating IndieMade- compatible product records. The best part is that you’re able to do it with only a very small amount of spreadsheet use. How it works: Step 1: It’s Free To Sign Up We want you to try Venzee out for free, no credit card required, no obligations! When you’ve completed your sign up you’re ready to start uploading your source data. Are you ready? Let’s get started! How do I import data into Venzee? How do suppliers share data with their retailers via Venzee? Step 2: Your IndieMadeTemplate You’re going to use our IndieMade template to create your IndieMade-ready product records. So, let’s go get it! It’s waiting for us in the Venzee Template Library. To get there go to Dynamic Data and click the button that says “Add”. Have a look around. You’re now in our Template Library. Find the IndieMade template and select it. How do I create a template? Step 3: How To Use the IndieMade Template To Create A Dynamic Collection Before we can start quickly creating IndieMade-ready products from your source data we need to create a Dynamic Collection. So, let’s get started! Making a Dynamic Collection involves the simple process of mapping your source data’s various attributes (like color, size etc.) against the fields in the IndieMade template. If you get stuck just click on the question mark “?” for help.
We’ve given you the ability to add a few extra details to your finished IndieMade-ready products. You can add padding for better visual appeal, include spec tables, and perform math calculations. There’s even a way to create entirely new content using your source data’s attributes and the template’s fields. After you’re finished mapping everything click “Generate” and then “Export” to get the download link.
