  2. COVID-19 is a contagious respiratory illness caused by a virus called SARS-CoV-2. The virus spreads through close contact with an infected person, through the air by coughing and sneezing, and through contact with contaminated surfaces or objects. SymptomsofCOVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing. Social distancing measures have been put in place, limiting people’s ability to interact and attend events. Schools have been closed, and travel has been restricted. The mental health of many people has been affected, with anxiety and depression at an all- time high.

  3. Types of Covid-19 There are three main types of COVID-19: mild, moderate, and severe. The majority of people with COVID-19 have mild disease and can recover at home without medical care. In moderate cases, people may need hospitalization and supplemental oxygen. Severe cases can result in respiratory failure and organ failure and require intensive care. Rapid and PCR tests Rapid tests are antigen tests that detect proteins on the surface of the virus. These tests are relatively quick and easy to do, but they can produce false-negative results. PCR tests are the most accurate tests for diagnosing COVID-19
