PEG Derivatives by Structure

t is usually white (almost white) viscous liquid or solid particles, easily soluble in DCM, DMF, DMSO and most other organic solvents, soluble in water. It needs to be frozen at - 20u2103. There is a methylene (CH2) linkage between PEG and the COOH group. PEG acid can be used to react with amine groups with peptide coupling reagents such as NHS and DCC, EDC. The carboxyl group can modify the amino group and react with the hydroxyl group to form ester bond. It can be used to modify protein drugs, peptide compounds, organic small molecule drugs, biomaterials and so on.
