We rescue these animals by operating a life-saving transport, foster, and adoption program. In order to make it easier for rescued animals to be transported, fostered, and adopted, Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) operates as a well-established not-for-profit 501(c)(3) company. Our programme seeks to save animals from shelters and communities in southern states that are at risk of abuse, homelessness, and euthanasia. Adopt a dog Almost everyday, new animals are saved, and when they become available for meet-and-greets, they are listed on this page. The pet will be taken off the website once it has fulfilled its quota for meet-and-greet requests. Available Dogs for Adoption If the screen below is blank, it is because all of our puppies & dogs have received the max quota on meet & greet requests. Be sure to follow us on Instagram for new intake announcements! You must have an application on file prior to requesting a Meet & Greet to be considered for adoption.
