  1. Rejuvenating Power of Nei DanByLouis TongISLT

  2. The Story of Fathers of Fiber Optics The Nobel Prize in Physics 2009

  3. Fiber Optics Leading To The Internet Age of Today(Nobel Prize Award for groundbreaking achievements concerning the transmission of light in fibers for optical communication)

  4. A Lot of Press Coverage Is Not So Much on Professor Charles Ko’s Scientific Contribution but on His Health Condition – Stories about His Loss of Memories and Disorientation. On Dec 8 in Stockholm, the Nobel Lecture Will Not Be Delivered by Prof. Kao due to His Illness but by His Wife, Mrs. Gwen Kao. Effects of Alzheimer, A Disease Even More Threatening Than Cancer! Examples..

  5. Another 2009 Nobel Prize : The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine Awarded to Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Carol W.Greider and Jack W. Szostak

  6. The Story of Telomere & Telomerase

  7. Hayflick Limit & The Shortening of TelomereThe Hayflick limit is the number of times, around 40 to 60 times, a normal cell population will divide before it stops. The average lifespan of a cell is two years, hence the lifespan of a person is around 80 to a maximum of 120. Telomere shortening in humans eventually stops cell division.

  8. Breakthrough Discovery (Breaking the Hayflick Limit) : The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2009

  9. Two Health Issues We Are Facing Today Ageing : Cells stop regenerating (general) Alzheimer : Brain cell degeneration (specific)

  10. Scientific Discovery of the Importance of Saliva- Growth factors- Stimulate cells to grow (anti-ageing)- Repair damaged brain cells (anti- Alzheimer) by NGF

  11. Scientific Research also Shows That Growth Factors in Saliva Decrease with Ageing- Babies Usually Have Saliva Dripping from Their Mouths(精滿)- Whereas the Elderly Tend to Have Dry Throats & Phlegm! (sick patients also!)

  12. TWO IMPORTANT RESEARCH PROJECTS ON SALIVAAccording to a medical research conducted by Fukushima Medical University School of Medicine in Japan in 2005-06 and published in Oral Science International, November 2008, the NGF amount in saliva decreased with age, especially for the group aged 70 years and older. Research results indicate that the NGF amount in saliva is influenced by ageing, and saliva amount and masticatory function. The medical research conducted by the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden and published in Laryngoscope Volume 112 Issue in 2009 also shows that the saliva concentration of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) varies with individual age, with the highest levels among young individuals, even levels during a mature phase of life, and low levels toward the end of the life cycle. This growth factor is important for the formation of new blood vessels.

  13. In the Case of Alzheimer Patients, They Have Lost Their Capacity to Make Nerve Growth Factor (NGF). Result: Loss of Memory and Disorientation!(Ref. :Brain Repair by Donald Stein, Simon Brailowsky and Bruno Will)

  14. Nei Dan Rejuvenating Power- The Super-Saliva Exercise (水+舌=活)- The Kidney Aerobics(腎的健美操)

  15. Nei Dan External: Slow MovementInternal: Tranquility(外動內靜)Urban People Today Are Constantly Under Stresses & Strains (Over 100,000 Signals Entering Our Brain Each Day).Need To Quieten Down

  16. Most People Cannot Quieten Down Simply by Sitting Down or even Doing Sitting Meditation Because the Mind Has Its Own Auto-Pilot!Nei Dan Offers an Effective Way to Help the Brain to Slow Down through Focused and Very Slow Movements Exercising the “Kidney”(Kidney+Brain+Hormonal System). Time required: around 15-20 Minutes. Results: Saliva Overflowing and Mentally, the Practitioner Arrives at an Altered State of Tranquility (Peace of Christ or Buddhist Nirvana)

  17. Results of Nei Dan Practice Increase SalivaPractitioners: Healthier Peaceful (氣定神閒) Youthful Energetic Longer life-span What Science Teaches UsSaliva has growth factors: Help cells to grow Repair damaged nerve cellsSaliva flow declines as we ageTelomerase maintains the telomeres at the ends of the DNA thread, hence cells can continue to devide, breaking the Hayflick Limit which means a longer life-span.More Research Required Especially From Academic Circle.

  18. 煉精化氣煉精化氣氣化神、煉神還虛保自身自身自有靈丹藥、何需深山把藥尋。煉精化氣煉精化氣氣化神、煉神還虛保自身自身自有靈丹藥、何需深山把藥尋。 A Poem To Summarize What Nei Dan Is Progressing From Qing to Chi to Spirit Further from Spirit to Void to Protect the Body Your Own Body Has All the Medicine You Need Why Should You Go to the Mountain to Get Your Medicine!
