  3. Seth Godin, born and raised in New York is a modern day thinker, way ahead of his time. He is an author of 18 book’s. -In the mid-1990s, Godin started “Yoyodyne,” the first Internet-based direct-marketing firm, with the notion that, “companies needed to rethink how they reached customers.” -Since than he has sparked change in marketing. Who is Seth Godin ?

  4. -Permission Marketing is a type of marketing that is trying to catch the eye of the modern day busy person. With so much going on the consumer is not in to ads but more into the daily grind. - People are getting so good at not reading messages due to the fact that they are constantly attacked with media. They end up not bothering to look at the Mass marketing projects What is Permission Marketing ?

  5. This expensive and not efficient way of marketing is old fashioned. Permission marketing wants to get attention, by finding the people that want to read their advertisement. . They do this by making a friendship with the consumer. They sacrifice getting the message out to many but aim for the small few who care.

  6. This type of marketing works because of its relationship with the consumer. The point of this is to sell products not just advertise them permission marketing focuses on groups that will buy the products, interest groups who support the product. Why Does it Work ?

Our generation has almost an immune sense to advertisement, we alone are causing havoc in the marketing industry because of our power to ignore. • The idea virus talks about how to get us to buy things by infiltrating the mind. • This idea will spread through word of mouth and be seen and we the people become the billboards and the T.V. Screens because marketers now use us to market to each other.
