  3. Information Technology • Use of Webcam for real-time monitoring of different offices/Sections. • Successfully installed at MB/DIV Cash office .

  4. Information Technology • Service Records can be digitized and put online. • LKO Div of Northern Railway is already in advanced stage of this project (nearly 60% – 65%)

  5. Information Technology • This has been tried out on pilot basis at MB/Div for A/c’s staff. • Incorporation of provision of biometric attendance register.

  6. Human Resources • Intensive foot to foot survey was carried out, of railway land transferred from IZN/NER. to MB/NR. and during this it was discovered that approx- 164 Shops exist over this rly land. Rent and Arrears are being recovered from them.

  7. Human Resources • All sanitation contracts at NDLS station and all over NR. Rly have been suitably amended to incorporate provision of ensuring payment through bank. • In all labour contracts over NR.deduction of ESI & EPF is being ensured. (Incorporated in the Spl. Conditions of the contract)

  8. Human Resources • All payments (like PF, Settlement dues, Contractor payments etc) are being made through RTGS/Cheques. • On the suggestion of finance released solar panels from S&T department were utilized by the Electrical department for electrification of almost 30 level crossings on MB Div.

  9. Human Resources • Progressively all salary tours(4 in all conventionally) are being merged into a single salary tour. • UMB/Div has already merged 3 of its 4 salary tours(HQ,A&B). • MB/Div is going to merge A & B tours.
