  4. Introduction • Music industry is facing to rapid technology change presently. • When CD is invented in 1965 by James t. Russell it was used as the primary media of distributing music . • But today, Internet have taken effect on many industries including Music. • Because of that online music downloading has been more popular . • So will it be the end of CD s?

  5. Why people Download music online ? • Many entertainment sites and software's provide music downloading facility. • Its fast . • Its easy. • Can directly download in to your device. (Example : iPod) • No need of shipping So it saves Shipping cost. • It saves the space.(CD Rom takes too much space). • CD Rom has been expired . • CD’s are scratching often So data will be damaged. • Less memory capacity . • You can try it before downloading.

Why people buy music CD ? • There is a people who love to collect albums as CD collections. • People who do not have internet. • It is more secure way to collect music. • CD ‘s doesn't crash or delete it’s data. • To help the artist. Because illegally shared data will not produce income to the artist. • music CDs have very good audio quality.

Yes it causes effect. • Because When we concern about above facts we can think that music downloading is • very effective • easy way than a buying CD’s • Can be download directly in to device • CD’s are old fashioned . • You can order from home. • In these cases music downloading surpasses the CD s.

No it does not causes effect. • Because • music downloading cant be if there is no internet connection. • Everyone is not familiar with the internet. • You can’t download music if you don’t have credit card . • What if you don’t play your music on computer. • You will be downloading pirate copy and it will be illegal . • In that case music downloading is not good option. • And researchers at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina have done a research by tracking music downloads over 17 weeks in 2002 and Says , • “We find that file sharing has only had a limited effect on record sales”

Conclusion When we concerning all the facts we can come to conclusion that music download will not be the end of CD’s Because downloading music is just one option that can be used to distribute music products to the listener. And CD’s are also another kind of option. Downloading music is not fully replacement to music CD’s.
