  2. Carbide burrs are made of tungsten carbide or a high-strength steel (HSS). Tungsten carbide burr bits are recommended when dealing with metal. Because of their immense intensity, they're used to much more difficult jobs.

  3. Single Cut Carbide Burr The most common metals used to strip fabric with a smooth finish are stainless steel, stainless steel, zinc, cast iron, and ferrous metals. This process allows for heavy stock removal, milling, deburring, and cleaning. They're designed to remove a lot of trash, mill it, deburr it, clean it, grind it, and shape long chips.

  4. Double-Cut Carbide Burr Double-cut carbide burrs are often used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, low-carbon steel, and other non-metal materials such as plastics and wood.
